COMMUNITY RULES AND GUIDELINES AGREEMENT

Members who do not abide by these simple rules may be blocked from the group. 

These rules are subject to amendments as needed to accommodate the needs of the group. 






Customer Service Enquiries

Any customer service enquiries should be directed to the Own Your Parenting Story  support inbox at jenna@ownyourparentingstory.com  (and should not be posted in the discussion group). They will be responded to within a 48 hour timeframe. This includes billing enquiries, any mistakes spotted or materials missing, etc. 



Response Times and Expectations

This group is intended as a support group for toddler parents.  Jenna and her team will answer questions where they can, but not every post will get a direct response. 

You are requested not to specifically tag Jenna in posts. 

Members are instead encouraged to interact with and support each other, and to help each others.

We do not guarantee any specific response times to posts, and there will be no responses at all on weekends and holidays.  (Canadian Eastern Time) 


Keep In Mind

Parenting is a very nuanced and individual experience, as is breastfeeding.  Advice shouldn’t be “given” unless specifically asked for, and even when it is presented, keep in mind that what worked for you may not work for someone else.  

When something is your experience, state it as such.  If you are sharing data, try to share a link.

In this group empathy and vulnerability are valued.  Please take care of yourself.  If something that is posted causes you to have a negative emotional reaction, scroll past and practice some self-care.  If you would like some further support about something you have seen that is concerning,  please send Jenna an email. 


Sharing of Content Outside of Group

Please do not share anything from within the group (written, or screen shots etc…) outside of the group.  

Jenna and her team may ask if something shared within the group can be shared outside of it on social media or to help other moms see what happens inside of Moms & Milk Village.  You always reserve the right to say “no”.
